Frederic M. Poses

Fred Poses is the chairman and chief executive officer of Trane (formerly American Standard Companies, Inc.).
Prior to joining Trane/American Standard in October 1999, Poses was president and chief operating officer of AlliedSignal Inc., which has since merged with Honeywell. He joined AlliedSignal as a financial analyst in 1969 and was named general manager of the company's Home Furnishings Division in 1977.
Poses was subsequently promoted to positions with increasing responsibility at AlliedSignal and named president of the Engineered Materials Sector and executive vice president of the company in 1988. In October 1997, he was elected to the board of directors and named vice chairman of AlliedSignal Inc. He was appointed president and chief operating officer in June 1998.
Before joining AlliedSignal, Poses spent two years on assignment in Peru with the Peace Corps. He holds a B.B.A. from New York University.
Poses serves as a director for Centex Corporation and Raytheon Company, and was recently selected to serve on the board of Tyco Electronics when it becomes an independent company. In addition, he is chairman of the board of the National Center for Learning Disabilities; a member of the board of visitors at Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering; and a trustee of both the Eagle Hill School and the 92nd Street Y. -
Nicholas A. Anthony

Nick Anthony is the vice president and general tax counsel for Trane (formerly American Standard Companies). He joined the company in May 2000.
Previously, Nick served as chief tax officer for Crompton Corporation, a Fortune 500 multinational firm, where he oversaw the merger of its tax department with that of Crompton and Knowles. Prior to joining Crompton, Nick spent six years with the General Motors Corporation as assistant general tax counsel. He was also senior tax counsel for Exxon Corporation and an associate attorney with New York-based law firm Dewey Ballantine early in his career.
Nick is a graduate of Boston College and received an MBA in finance from Babson College in Massachusetts. He was awarded a juris doctorate from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and a Masters of Laws degree from New York University.

Brad Cerepak

Brad Cerepak is vice president and controller for Trane (formerly American Standard Companies, Inc.).
Prior to assuming his current position, he spent two years as vice president and CFO for the global Bath and Kitchen business of American Standard Companies (since sold to Bain Capital Partners, LLC ).
Brad joined American Standard in 2003 after nine years with AlliedSignal, Honeywell International's predecessor, where he held several finance leadership positions. From 2001 to 2003, he served as the vice president and chief financial officer for Honeywell's Automation & Control Solutions business. From 1995 to 2001 he held various finance leadership executive positions for Allied Signal's Consumer Products Group, Automotive Group and Friction Materials Group. He started his career at Allied Signal in its Corporate Headquarters and Automotive Sector. Prior to joining Allied, he spent more than 12 years with PriceWaterhouse in their New York corporate finance mergers and acquisitions and audit departments.
Brad has a bachelor's degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, N.J., and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
He is a certified public accountant and a certified Six Sigma green belt.

Lawrence B. Costello

Lawrence (Larry) Costello is senior vice president, human resources for Trane (formerly American Standard Companies), having joined the company in July 2000.
Prior to joining Trane/American Standard, he worked for Campbell Soup Company where he was corporate vice president for global human resources. He spent 12 years with Pepsico Inc., where he held the positions of vice president - personnel for Pepsico Foods International and vice president - personnel for Frito Lay, Inc. Larry was also a partner in HRC Consultants for six years.
Larry holds a bachelor's degree in administration from New Jersey-based Rider College.

G. Peter D'Aloia

G. Peter D'Aloia is senior vice president and chief financial officer of Trane (formerly American Standard Companies, Inc.), having joined the company in February 2000.
Before joining Trane/American Standard, D'Aloia worked for Honeywell where he most recently served as vice president business development. He spent 27 years with Honeywell's predecessor company, AlliedSignal, in diverse finance management positions. During his career with AlliedSignal, he served as vice president taxes; vice president and treasurer; vice president and controller; and vice president and chief financial officer for the Engineered Materials Sector. Early in his career, he worked as a tax attorney for the accounting firm, Arthur Young and Company.
D'Aloia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from New York University. He received a Doctor of Laws degree from St. John's University (New York) and a Master of Laws degree in taxation from New York University.
He is a member of the New York Bar Association. -
R. Bruce Fisher

Bruce Fisher is vice president of strategic planning and investor relations for Trane (formerly American Standard Companies, Inc.), having joined the company in July 2000.
Before coming to Trane/American Standard, Bruce spent 23 years with the former AlliedSignal where most recently he was vice president of Amorphous Metals, a global business that sells energy-efficient materials to the electrical, electronics and other advanced technology industries. During his career, Bruce held marketing, business planning and progressively more responsible finance positions with various AlliedSignal divisions and corporate office.
Bruce is a graduate of the University of Virginia. He received an MBA from the College of William and Mary. -
Mary Beth Gustafsson

Mary Beth Gustafsson is senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Trane (formerly American Standard Companies, Inc.). She joined the company in September 2001.
Prior to assuming her current position, Mary Beth served as chief counsel the company's $5 billion commercial and residential air conditioning systems business worldwide. Previously, she was chief corporate counsel with responsibility for corporate legal activities, including acquisitions, joint ventures and alliances, financing transactions, corporate governance and public company regulation.
Prior to joining Trane/American Standard, Mary Beth spent five years with Honeywell (formerly AlliedSignal) where she held positions of increasing responsibility including chief mergers and acquisitions counsel and chief counsel to Honeywell's $1 billion electronic materials business. From 1989 to 1996, Mary Beth was associated with the New York law firm of Hughes Hubbard and Reed, where she focused on mergers and acquisitions and securities transactions.
Mary Beth has a bachelor's degree in English Literature from Boston University, and a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Michigan Law School.

W. Craig Kissel

Craig Kissel is president of Trane Commercial Systems, a leading global supplier of air conditioning and heating systems and services for commercial and industrial customers, as well as schools, hospitals and government facilities.
Kissel assumed his current position in January 2004. Before that he served as president of WABCO, the former Vehicle Control Systems business of American Standard Companies (spun-off as an independant company on August 1, 2007). He had held that position since 1998.
Prior to leading Vehicle Control Systems, Kissel spent 17 years in various management positions in both the commercial and residential parts of the air conditioning business, including vice president and group executive of the North American Unitary Products business.
In addition to leading Trane Commercial Systems, Kissel serves as chairman of the Trane Ethics and Integrity Council, a group of 12 senior business leaders responsible for developing the company values that guide employees as they conduct their business relationships with customers, suppliers and each other.
Kissel graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1973 with a bachelor's degree in Oceanography. After serving five years in the U.S. Navy, he attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., and graduated in 1980 with a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. -
David Kuhl

David Kuhl is vice president and treasurer for Trane (formerly American Standard Companies, Inc.). He joined the company in March 2002 as an assistant treasurer in corporate finance.
Prior to joining Trane/American Standard, he worked for DuPont as chief financial officer of the Nutrition & Health business unit. Previously, he spent 12 years at ExxonMobil where he held several domestic and international treasury management positions, including project executive for international treasury management, manager of Far East, Middle East & Africa treasurers, and treasurer for Esso Benelux. He began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a senior accountant in auditing.
David has a B.A. in chemistry from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago

Shelly J. London

Shelly London is vice president and chief communications officer for Trane (formerly American Standard Companies, Inc.). She joined the company in July 2000. Shelly leads all internal and external communications globally.
Before joining Trane/American Standard, Shelly worked at AT&T for more than 18 years. In her most recent position, she served as senior vice president of communications for Concert, the $7 billion global communications joint venture of AT&T and British Telecom. She directed all communications, including advertising, brand management, marketing and web communications, media relations and employee communications.
Shelly previously held positions at AT&T in sales, sales management, marketing, advertising and public relations.
She graduated with highest distinction with a degree in journalism and also earned an MBA from the University of Kansas.

David Modi

David (Dave) Modi is vice president of government and public affairs for Trane (formerly American Standard Companies, Inc.), having joined the company in January 2003. He is responsible for shaping and leading the $9.5 billion company's public policy initiatives globally, representing Trane's viewpoint on legislation and regulations that affect its businesses.
Dave has more than 20 years' experience in public and government affairs. He joins American Standard from Georgia Pacific Corporation, a leading global manufacturer and distributor of tissue, pulp, paper, packaging, building products and related chemicals, where he served most recently as vice president of government affairs.
During his 12-year career with Georgia Pacific, Modi directed the company's U.S. lobbying activity, developed its political action committee and led an array of diverse, high profile issue management projects including Superfund legislation. Earlier in his career, he worked for DuPont, the science and technology company, as an environmental attorney and lobbyist.
A graduate of the University of Iowa, Dave holds a law degree from the University of North Carolina.

David R. Pannier

David (Dave) R. Pannier is Trane's President of Residential Systems.
Residential Systems makes and markets products under the Trane® and American Standard® brand names. The business is responsible for the design, manufacture and distribution of central air conditioning systems for the home.
Pannier joined Trane 30 years ago, and has worked in the applied products and unitary products groups, as well as the after-market business. He has held several senior management positions within the Unitary Products Group including vice president, commercial marketing; vice president, marketing and product management; and vice president, residential marketing. Prior to his most recent appointment, he served for four years as vice president and business leader of the North American Unitary Products Group.
Pannier is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is actively involved with several industry organizations. He has served on the board of directors and executive committee of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) and as vice chairman of the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) board of directors. He recently completed a term as chairman of ARI and is now an advisory member of ARI's Executive Committee. -
Sally Genster Robling

Sally Robling is vice president of marketing. She joined Trane (formerly American Standard Companies, Inc.), in August 2000.
Sally has 20 years of marketing experience in product, category and brand management in the consumer products industry. Previously, Sally worked for Campbell Soup Company where she was vice president and general manager of global beverages, a division with leading brands like V8 and V8 Splash. Sally also spent 12 years with Kraft Foods and was responsible for managing brand name products like Jell-O gelatin and pudding, Log Cabin syrup and Cool Whip topping.
Sally is a graduate of Princeton University, and received an MBA from the University of Virginia.

Edward Schlesinger

Edward Schlesinger leads Trane's global audit team and provides financial and IT audit services across the company. He has overall responsibility for establishing and shaping policies and controls to maintain reporting accuracy and ensure regulatory compliance.
Ed joined Trane (formerly American Standard Companies, Inc.), in 1994 as senior accounting analyst and then served as manager of financial reporting. He was named assistant controller in 2000 and assumed his current position in August of 2006.
Prior to Trane/American Standard, Ed worked with Sea Land Service as a senior financial analyst and before that at General Instrument. He has a bachelor's degree in finance from Montclair State University and an MBA from St. John's University.
